English Casters for the Eastern Clash Announced

In the aftermath of the Western Clash held at IEM Katowice, the East is gearing up and preparing for a Clash of their own. Heroes of the Storm teams from China, Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia will be competing for $100,000 USD in total prizes at the Gold Series Stadium in Shanghai, China starting from March 17 and going through March 19.

The casting desk for the Eastern Clash will include many of the faces seen at IEM Katowice including Josh “JHow” Howard, Tim “Trikslyr” Frazier, Wade “Dreadnaught” Penfold, and Jaycie “Gillyweed” Gluck. In addition, OGN caster and Korean Twitter phenomenon Wolf “Wolf” Schröder will be joining the crew.

There was no official announcement, but the casters were sneakily added to the HGC website earlier today. Matt “CyaSteve” MacNeil, Blizzard’s eSports Coordinator, also hinted at it via Twitter.

It is not clear if this is the final line-up for the English casters, but Blizzard should release more information later this week as the event approaches.
