Lineage M has unveiled part of its Q3 update. During the 'Standby M' broadcast held today (August 3), the team announced a class reboot for the 'Slayer,' the launch schedule for a new reboot server, Clan Raid improvements, enhancements to offline play, and the addition of the 4th zone to the Albino Basin.

The 'Albino Basin,' which plays a pivotal role in character growth, will see the addition of a '4th zone,' a higher-tier area than the Sulfur Region (3rd zone). The team also addressed the practice of 'resetting' (re-rolling), where players reach level 90 with an alt character to obtain a Legend Transformation and attempt a Mythic Transformation fusion.

NC stated, "As player growth has advanced, high-level resetting has become a part of the culture, but we are concerned that it may lead to players neglecting their main characters. We intend to gradually create an environment that allows players to focus on the growth of their main characters." While clarifying that they are not taking extreme measures to block resetting, the faster pace of leveling in the new Albino Basin 4th zone is expected to accelerate the process.

The next class reboot will feature the 'Slayer.' In line with reboot traditions, a female character option and unique Clan skills will be added. The team also teased more powerful, high-tier Dragon Language Magic (following concepts like 'Primordial' or 'Ancient'). Detailed information on the Slayer reboot will be revealed in a future 'Inside M' broadcast.

"Clan Raids will be improved for both small and large groups. NC noted, "While the rise of solo raids is a natural result of advanced player growth, there are concerns that it may shrink the in-game community." They added, "We are not eliminating solo raids, but we are planning to strengthen small and large-scale raids with a structure that rewards participation, offering greater rewards as more players join.""

"Additionally, the popular seasonal "Arena" content will be revamped. The new design will emphasize strategic elements, such as destroying guardian towers and utilizing traps. Improvements to offline play, currently limited to 8 hours per day, were also announced. Regarding the demand for 24-hour offline play, the team responded, "We are working on improvements so that players can use the feature comfortably when they want, but we intend to avoid excessively long offline play sessions, as they can diminish interest in the game.""

The highly anticipated 'Reboot World New Server' is set to launch in early September. The team stated they are preparing unique features for the Reboot World, similar to the past 'Talking Island' server. With the new server launch scheduled for early September, the new episode update, including the Slayer reboot, is also expected to arrive in September. In appreciation of player support, NC announced that the 'Mysterious Circus Troupe' event, which allows players to obtain large quantities of Transformation, Magic Doll, and Sacred Object cards, will begin on August 12.
