The EWC 2026 League of Legends Group C match between T1 and GAM, held on the 15th at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France, ended in a victory for T1.

Early in the game, GAM built significant momentum in top-side skirmishes, taking down 'Oner's' Vi twice and securing kills on 'Doran's' Gnar and 'Faker's' Orianna. However, T1 began to rally after 'Keria's' Shen roamed to the mid lane to secure the team's first kill, allowing them to seize control of the game.

Having shifted the momentum, T1 quickly erased a 0-4 kill deficit to tie the score at 4-4 and won a crucial Dragon fight. GAM managed to respond with plays like catching out Orianna in the top lane, but while T1 clearly held the lead, GAM's combat prowess remained a threat.

The flow was briefly interrupted when 'Phase's' Taliyah was caught out while T1 was establishing vision in the enemy jungle. Nevertheless, T1 had already secured three Dragon stacks and maintained control. T1 ultimately dominated the decisive teamfight in front of the Baron pit, secured the Baron buff, and pressured GAM to close out their first EWC match with a win.
