In the opening match of Group A at the '2026 FSL Summer' held at the Jamsil DN Colosseum on the 5th, BNK FEARX's 'Noise' (Noh Yeong-jin) defeated Nongshim RedForce's 'Aki' (Jo Yeong-hwan) 2-1, with the 'defending champion' demonstrating his prowess against the newcomer.
In the first set, 'Noise' scored the opening goal just five minutes into the first half. Gabriel Magalhães connected with a corner kick, finding the back of 'Aki's' net with a header. 'Noise' kept the momentum going, breaking through 'Aki's' defensive wall to score a second and third goal in quick succession. Conversely, 'Aki's' offensive plays were easily stifled. 'Noise' finished the first half 3-0, and despite conceding one goal in the second half, they added another to close out the first set 4-1.
The second set saw a counterattack from the rookie 'Aki.' By scoring the opening goal in the first half, 'Aki' decisively broke the momentum that might have carried over from the previous set. He continued to pressure 'Noise' by adding another goal in the second half. 'Noise' attempted to rally with a goal from a Karim Benzema breakthrough, but 'Aki' capitalized on a corner kick to extend his lead and secure the win. The second set ended in a 3-1 victory for 'Aki.'
The final third set was even more intense. Both players traded goals early in the first half, creating a tense deadlock. 'Noise' was the one to break it, using a rapid counterattack with Vinícius and Karim Benzema to instantly penetrate the flank and convert it into a goal. In the second half, 'Noise' did not miss an opportunity when 'Aki' committed a goalkeeper throwing miss, widening the gap to 3-1. He then added another goal against a rattled 'Aki' to secure a decisive victory in the third set.
