Jeollanam-do's Yu Chang-ho has won the KEL FC Mobile championship for the second consecutive year.
On the 28th, at the 2026 Korea Esports League (KEL) FC Mobile finals held at the Busan Esports Arena, Yu Chang-ho proved he remains the strongest player in FC Mobile by defeating Gyeongnam's Kwon Min-seok with a 3-0 sweep. Having secured his second straight title, Yu reflected on his disappointment in last year's international tournament and expressed his determination to achieve better results this time.
Below is the post-victory interview with Jeollanam-do's Yu Chang-ho.

Q. How do you feel about winning back-to-back titles?
I am so grateful to the Jeollanam-do Esports Association. I think I was able to win because of their excellent support. People talk about a 'sophomore slump,' but I think that's largely psychological. I was worried about it too, but I'm glad I overcame it. Also, I was able to grow more through last year's international tournament.
Q. There was a patch right before the tournament. It was a meta where the 'Finesse Shot' was very prominent, wasn't it?
All the players are skilled and we face each other often, so we know each other's styles well. I actually used that to my advantage in my preparation. While the Finesse Shot is strong right now, I felt it had the downside of narrowing one's vision for other options.
Q. Your decision to prepare Bierhoff was very effective.
I usually try not to play that way, but I decided to try Bierhoff after a recommendation from another player. It worked out well once I started using him, so I incorporated him into my strategy.
Q. You received ₩10 million in prize money and a ticket to the international tournament?
My wife will naturally take care of the prize money. I was eliminated early in last year's international tournament, but this time, I want to go much further.
Q. What areas do you need to improve for the international tournament?
There is a player in Thailand named 'Totonnaka22.' I've learned a lot from interacting with him since last year, and his advice has been a huge help.
Q. Any final words?
I'm truly grateful to the Jeollanam-do Esports Association. Also, there's a guy named Kim Hee-chul at the office who always asks me to mention him in interviews (laughs). I will do my best to achieve better results in this international tournament than I did last year.
