On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 10:30 AM EST, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) will announce pivotal hires for its collegiate esports program. After months of conducting an extensive nation-wide search for experienced, world-renowned gamers, Harrisburg University has hired two esports pros to lead its varsity esports teams. These new hires further enhance HU’s already ground-breaking esports program, making this announcement something you surely do not want to miss.
Media and special guests are invited to join HU for the opportunity to meet and learn about the two individuals leading HU’s esports program and their impressive backgrounds, as well as hear their unique perspectives and ambitions for HU’s esports teams, and ask questions about the growth and development of esports at HU, in the greater Harrisburg region and beyond.
Speakers will include Eric Darr, President of Harrisburg University, and the newly hired esports program professionals.
Reporters are invited to participate in this announcement by asking the newly hired esports pros any questions they have about HU’s program, esports or future opportunities and next steps for the collegiate team.
