JoyCity (CEO Cho Sung-won) announced on the 29th that its upcoming soccer game 'Freestyle Football 2,' currently under development by its subsidiary Ure, will participate in the 'Seoul Spring Festival,' a citizen-focused event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, to hold on-site activities.
The 'Seoul Spring Festival,' held from May 1 to May 5, is one of Seoul's signature spring events. JoyCity will participate as a sponsor in the 'Flap Football' match zone, a key program of the festival, to engage directly with soccer fans and citizens.
During the event, JoyCity will host promotional activities for 'Freestyle Football 2' at its booth. Visitors who add 'Freestyle Football 2' to their wishlist and show proof to the on-site staff will receive a scratch-off lottery ticket with instant prizes.
Park Jun-seung, Head of the Strategic Business Division at JoyCity, stated, "As this event takes place just before the second closed beta test for the PC version of 'Freestyle Football 2' on May 8, it will serve as an opportunity to build anticipation among users and expand our brand presence offline."
Meanwhile, 'Freestyle Football 2' is a next-generation soccer game being developed by the original team behind the 'Freestyle' online sports game series. It is garnering attention from fans for combining realistic graphics with the fast-paced, arcade-style fun of the original.
