'KILLA,' currently in development by the Korean indie studio GumGyuDan, has been named as the first publishing title for Toei Games.
Toei Games is a brand established on the 21st by Toei, one of Japan's leading film distributors, to mark its entry into the gaming business. The company announced plans to launch on the PC platform Steam, with future expansions into the console market.
The three publishing titles unveiled on the 24th are original works rather than existing IP owned by Toei. The company introduced them as the first three titles to be developed in collaboration with talented global creators.
The three titles announced by Toei Games are 'KILLA' by Korean indie developer GumGyuDan, 'HINO' by Ungloom Studio, and 'DEBUG NEPHEMEE' by Nepheme Studio.

KILLA is a 3D adventure mystery game that follows the journey of the protagonist, Valhalla, as she seeks revenge against the person who killed her mentor. From Valhalla's perspective, players arrive on a suspicious island and use a special ability called 'Resonance' to view suspects' memories and uncover hidden truths.
GumGyuDan's KILLA has already been showcased to global users at various domestic and international game shows, including BIC, G-STAR, PlayX4, Tokyo Game Show, Gamescom, and Burning Beaver. A demo version is currently available to play on Steam.
The developers of KILLA, GumGyuDan, stated on the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, "We are thrilled to have KILLA published by Toei Games, a company we have been fans of since childhood. We will continue to do our best to deliver an even more polished version of KILLA."

Another title, HINO, is a 2D dark fantasy adventure game from the Japanese indie developer Ungloom Studio. Players explore a world shrouded in shadows alongside the protagonist, Hino, and a skeleton named Monimoni. The game features ballpoint pen-style illustrations and offers multiple endings.
The final title is DEBUG NEPHEMEE, currently in development by the Japanese indie studio Nepheme Studio. Players embark on a journey to debug a world filled with anomalies known as 'bugs' to help the character Nepheme survive.
KILLA supports Korean, while the other two titles do not currently offer Korean language support. Detailed information for all three titles published by Toei Games can be found on their respective Steam pages.
