WEMADE Teams Up With Razer for Legend of YMIR World Championship Esports Tournament in 2026

WEMADE announced plans to host an international esports tournament for Legend of YMIR in early 2026, partnering with gaming hardware company Razer for what the publisher describes as a foundational step toward a long-term competitive ecosystem for the MMORPG.

The YMIR Cup World Championship is scheduled to run from Feb. 28 to March 1, 2026, at Razer’s Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore. The hybrid event will feature on-site competition alongside global livestreams across YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming and Bilibili, allowing international audiences to follow the matches in real time.

According to WEMADE, the invite-only championship will bring together top-performing clans and servers from regional league play. Weekly league matches are set to begin Dec. 26, 2025, and conclude Feb. 6, 2026, with division champions advancing to the world finals. The tournament format is separate from the game’s regular Server Battles and Server Duels, positioning the YMIR Cup as a standalone competitive circuit.

The publisher says the YMIR Cup is intended to test the viability of Legend of YMIR as a global esports title, rather than serving as a one-off event. Participating clan members will compete via a dedicated tournament server, while the overall World Champion will later face the winner of South Korea’s second YMIR Cup in a special exhibition match.

Razer will provide its esports-grade peripherals for all on-site competitors, including mice, keyboards and headsets commonly used in professional play. While no gameplay advantages are expected beyond standard performance consistency, the partnership highlights the event’s focus on competitive conditions.

WEMADE also outlined a substantial in-game reward pool tied to tournament performance. Based on final standings, participants can earn in-game currencies, summoning items and cosmetic gear, with the total value of rewards reaching up to $1 million. Some items will be exclusive to the YMIR Cup and include special bonus effects.

In a statement, WEMADE said the tournament builds on community engagement seen through partner servers and prior server-based competitions. The event will conclude with an award ceremony on March 1.
