Save the Undead: Zombie Cure Lab Launches May 27 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Aerosoft and Thera Bytes will release Zombie Cure Lab, a post-apocalyptic base builder and management simulation, on May 27 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Priced at €29.99, the title challenges players to repel nightly undead assaults while researching an antidote to restore zombies to human form.

Set in a world overrun by the infected, Zombie Cure Lab places users in command of an isolated scientific outpost. Participants will construct facilities from the ground up, assign staff to gather raw materials, and build freezing apparatuses that capture zombies for treatment. As laboratories grow, managers must allocate energy resources, streamline production lines and advance through more than 200 technologies in pursuit of a complete cure.

Successfully treated zombies emerge as “Humbies,” hybrid allies capable of assisting with base expansion and ongoing experiments. Maintaining morale and health among these half-human workers proves as critical as bolstering defenses each night. Neglecting either can lead to internal chaos or breaches from external hordes, threatening the survival of both researchers and rehabilitated creatures.

Key gameplay elements include resource harvesting, automated processing, shift scheduling for day and night operations, and defensive fortifications against relentless undead waves. The research tree encompasses everything from basic recovery protocols to advanced bioengineering, offering diverse strategic pathways.

Zombie Cure Lab originated with Munich-based Thera Bytes, an independent studio known for titles such as Global Farmer and contract-based serious games. Aerosoft, headquartered near Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport, expands its simulation lineup with this venture into post-apocalyptic strategy, joining its roster of flight and traffic simulators.

The game will be available both digitally and at retail outlets. Additional visuals and promotional assets are accessible through the official channels of Aerosoft and Thera Bytes. For ongoing updates and community engagement, interested players can follow the developers’ websites and social media platforms.
