On the 17th, Blizzard Entertainment released the 5 major update for 'Diablo Immortal,' titled 'Blood-Soaked Gem.' This update introduces the new 'Demon Hunter' class, the new 'Lut Gholein' region, and three new Helliquary bosses.
The most notable change is the arrival of the 'Diablo Immortal' 10th class, the 'Tempest.' The Tempest is a ranged hybrid summoner that controls the battlefield by summoning, commanding, and sacrificing demons when necessary. From level 1, players can use the iconic companion 'Soulbound,' and the class features the ability to consume demons during combat to absorb their power and grow stronger.
A new Main questline, 'Bloodied Gem,' also begins. This story continues the narrative of the Realm of Anguish, and for the first time in 'Diablo Immortal,' players will enter the historic city of 'Lut Gholein.'
'Lut Gholein' is introduced as a region that carries on the legacy of 'Diablo II: Resurrected.' Elements familiar to veteran players, such as the city gates, the central plaza, and its unique architectural style, make a return. However, this version of the city is depicted as having been corrupted by Andariel's demonic forces.

Three new Helliquary bosses have also been added. 'Iradus, the False Prophet' is a boss that wields the power of the sun, while 'The Gluttonous, Shackled by the Primal Soul Siphon' appears as an ancient demon with an endless appetite. 'Gulakht, the Night-Blood Deceiver' uses lightning to challenge players.
More details on the 'Diablo Immortal' 5 update, 'Bloodied Gem,' can be found in the developer update video and on the official blog. Detailed information regarding the new 'Tempest' class has also been released in a separate blog post.
