Indie game developer Inplusion announced that its first-person survival horror game, 'Saenara: The Sacrament,' was officially released on Steam on the 30th at 10:00 PM.
'Saenara: The Sacrament' is a first-person survival horror game set on a massive passenger ship. Players must explore the vessel to escape, gathering clues while uncovering the truth behind hidden incidents and the reality of a forbidden ritual.
The game utilizes a Metroidvania-style exploration structure within the confined space of the ship, allowing players to expand their reach by acquiring new keys and items. It features the tension of surviving with limited resources against constant threats. Furthermore, the game showcases a world that combines a layout based on an actual 6k-ton ship with Korean cultural sensibilities and occult elements.
"Inplusion CEO Kwak No-jin stated, "We wanted to offer a fresh horror experience by incorporating Korean themes and atmosphere while maintaining the tension and exploration fun of traditional survival horror," adding, "We hope many people will experience it for themselves.""
'Saenara: The Sacrament' is available for purchase and play on Steam.
