Amazon's cloud gaming service, Luna, is now available through Amazon Prime Video.

On the 23rd (North American time), Amazon announced on its official website that its cloud gaming service, Luna, can now be accessed via its OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. This does not mean Luna is being discontinued; rather, Amazon has added a gaming category to Prime Video to enhance accessibility while maintaining Luna as a standalone service.

Regarding the update, Amazon explained, "When we relaunched Luna last year, it was based on the belief that starting a game should not be difficult. This new service takes that idea a step further." By integrating Luna into Prime Video, Amazon aims to reduce the time spent searching for games, allowing users to jump into their favorite titles with a single click.

With Luna now included in Prime Video, users can enjoy games alongside dramas, movies, and sports. Prime members can search for and launch games in the same way they browse other content on Prime Video. The gameplay experience remains identical to the existing Luna service, and as it is a streaming service, no separate purchases or downloads are required.

Luna currently offers a variety of titles, including Hogwarts Legacy, Dispatch, FC 26, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with new games added every month.

Meanwhile, the introduction of the service in South Korea has not yet been confirmed. Details regarding a domestic launch or integration with Prime Video in the region remain to be seen.
