Gamepia (CEO Jung Jong-heon), in collaboration with Clouded Leopard Entertainment (CEO Yuen-Yuen Chen), announced that the action RPG 'Kyoto Xanadu - Sakura - Hanamu-', developed by Nihon Falcom (CEO Toshihiro Kondo), will be officially released in Korea as a package for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, and PC (Steam®) on the 16th.

'Kyoto Xanadu - Sakura - Hanamu-' is an all-new dual-dimensional action RPG from Nihon Falcom, set in a modern-day Japan where Kyoto is the capital. It follows the story of boys and girls who awaken as 'Qualified' individuals and become entangled in the mysteries of the otherworldly 'Xanadu.' After gaining the power to fight against 'Greed' following a certain incident, the protagonist, Rei Kamiya, transfers to Hirasaka Academy and faces various strange destinies while attempting to fully 'clear' Xanadu.
The game features an innovative '2D×3D' battle system that combines two distinct styles of action. In 2D battles, players can enjoy classic side-scrolling combat while exploring massive labyrinths beneath the school. By opening gates that appear at specific points within these labyrinths, players can transition into 3D battles, where they can utilize a variety of skills and technical maneuvers. Furthermore, in the daily life segments centered around the main stage, 'Hirasaka Academy,' players can set action cards before class to boost parameters, roam the streets to gather information, or increase their intimacy with other characters, allowing for a deeper understanding of the unique world of 'Xanadu' and the personalities of its characters.
The PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, and PC (Steam®) versions of 'Kyoto Xanadu - Sakura - Hanamu-' are available for purchase starting the 16th at various online and offline retailers, including the online shopping mall Soprano. The game is rated for ages 15 and up. More detailed information about the product can be found on the official game website.
