Head of development Tetsuya Fukuhara taking the stage to introduce the upcomign Granblue Fantasy Versus competitive circuit was the highlight of what was revaled for Arc World Tour 2020, but it wasn't the only bit of information revealed in the closing ceremony of ArcRevo America 2019.

In addition, ArcSystemWorks revealed the loose schedule and changes to the format from the 2019 World Tour. The tour will start in the spring of 2020 and end in fall, with the World Tour Finals taking place at the end of the year. The tournament's upper echelon will be far more exclusive this time around — only 15 competitors will qualify for World Tour Finals per game, with the 16th and final spot decided by a Last Chance Qualifier at the World Tour Finals itself.

Players will also have more opportunities outside of Main Events to rack up qualifying points. Arc World Tour 2020 will feature two additional forms of events: Daredevil Events, which will occur outside of the Main Events but still count towards points, and Online Qualifying Events will also be a way to earn points that go towards the overall tour rankings.
