TSM has made a strong new addition to its Fortnite roster. The organization signed Mack "MackWood" Aesoph just one day after he won the NA East Fortnite Champion Series with TSM's Anthony "ZexRow"Colandro and Jonathan  "yung calculator" Weber, the latter of whom is expected to join the rest of his trio by signing with TSM in the coming days. 

MackWood began his competitive Fortnite career last December, debuting in the Winter Skirmish before signing with compLexity Gaming at the beginning of the year. MackWood's success has come primarily in the form of strong performances of online tournaments, most notably winning the 2019 Scallywag Cup, which took place in March. MackWood also qualified for the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Duos Finals, placing 16th overall and securing a Victory Royale in Game 3 with yung calculator. 

MackWood and compLexity parted ways last month, and it didn't take long for the free agent to find his new home. "It has been a super long and exciting journey so far and now to be in one of the most looked-up-to orgs is an incredible and indescribable feeling," said MackWood. "I can’t wait to see where my career will go with TSM and can’t wait to share the news with all my fans and supporters."

Mackwood's signing was met with positive reception, but little to no surprise from any faction of the TSM fanbase. The reasons for the lack of surprise is the same reason why yung calculator is currently expected to also sign with TSM. After winning the NA East FCS Trios Finals, ZexRow joined the broadcast in the form of a video call for a post-match interview. ZexRow didn't have a ton of airtime, but he sure made the most of it:

"Shoutout to my teammates MackWood and calc. They should be on TSM very soon. That's a leak, but...yeah, that's about it." 

In addition to the strongly implications listed above, yung calculator is a former member of 1x, a group of high level Fortnite players whom MackWood and TSM teammate Vinny "Vinny1x" Gilgan, who signed with TSM Fortnite at the end of February.

With the trio's dominant display in the FCS Finals, MackWood and yung calculator's history as a duo, and ZexRow's leak becoming true for MackWood in less than 24 hours, yung calculator not signing with TSM would be the more surprising outcome.
