[2019 LCK Summer Finals] Clid Named MVP of 2019 LCK Summer Split Finals

SKT’s long worry about jungle position is solved by a rookie from LPL.

SKT had been suffering by scouting a world-class player in the jungle position for several splits. They gathered some top-tier jungle players such as Han “Peanut” Wang-Ho, Kang “Blank” Sun-Gu, Park “Blossom” Beom-Chan in 2017 and 2018. However, they failed to adapt to SKT’s unique playstyle and survive as a member of one of the best League of Legends teams, SKT T1.

Kim “Clid” Tae-Min, who made his debut as a player of Newbee (LPL) in 2018,  joined SKT this year. He had been displaying his prowess in the jungle position and became the first jungler to play the entire schedule of SKT in spring and summer splits for a whole year.

With his performances, SKT advanced to the finals twice and claimed LCK Champion in both spring and summer splits. The last and the most important task for Clid now is getting the fourth star on their uniform by winning the 2019 LoL World Championship.
