Today’s cartoon is about Volibear and Fiddlesticks who received a chance to get reworked through fan vote.

For a week starting from the 10th, Riot selected champions to be reworked through a fan vote. They promised to rework a champion that got the highest votes. Other than Volibear and Fiddlesticks, there were Shyvana, Dr. Mundo, and Nocturne to choose from. Among these champions, Volibear and Fiddlesticks received 24.69% and 24.42%, respectively, to be ranked for the top two and were promised to be reworked in 2020.

Volibear appeared from time to time in ranked games with the help of big or small buffs or from the one-trick players, but because of the rather inconvenient skillset, it was nearly impossible for him to appear in the pro scene. Fiddlesticks appeared very rarely in the pro scene in some conceptual compositions, but it’s been long since he disappeared from the meta.

Now, the desire of many users gathered together to change the fate of two long-lasting champions. Riot had been always being asked of more attention towards champions that were neglected; through this rework, they will be able to gain users’ trust and something new to their game.

There still are many champions and the users of those champions for a day that they can shine. With the rework to come, I hope Volibear and Fiddlesticks can shine again. And I also hope many other champions’ fates change in the future!
