OP.GG’s global Esports team OP Gaming revealed on Oct 25th that EscA, a member of the OP Gaming PUBG Rangers, has donated the prize money for the PGI Charity Showdown to the Korean Red Cross.

The PGI Charity Showdown is a charity match that was held at the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 on July. Two invited streamers and two pros who participated in the PGI joined together to form TEAM PAPA and won the championship.

TEAM PAPA received 0.6 million USD as a prize, and EscA donated his share (0.15 USD) to the Korean Red Cross. The Korean Red Cross Committee revealed that the committee is going to use the money for a humanitarianism startup contest.

EscA said that he is happy to have won a tournament as an Esports pro, and is happier to make a donation to society. He also added that he hopes that the money will be used for benevolent purposes and will keep up the good work as a pro.

The PUBG Rangers recently won the 3rd weekly match in the 2018 PUBG Korea League #2, and are delivering great performance along with their sister team, the OP Gaming PUBG Hunters.
