[2018 NA LCS Summer Split Week 8 Day 2 Review] Top 3 Teams Lose, Unstoppable C9.

On the 12th of August, 2018 NA LCS Week 8 Day 2 was held. All top three teams lost their games. On the other hand, Clutch Gaming, Golden Guardians, and Counter Logic Gaming failed to reach the playoffs.

OpTic Gaming brought in Draven and Fizz against Echo Fox. They even let Aatrox go through the draft. The game was mostly in the lead of Echo Fox, but after Draven hit a jackpot, the game turned around completely. OpTic pulled off a critical win for the team.

Game 2 was a match between two teams that definitely needed a win; Golden Guardians and Clutch Gaming. Deftly played miraculously on Xayah with a 7/0/1 record, but he wasn’t able to stop the team from losing. Golden Guardians are now down to a 7-game losing streak.

TSM played against 100 Thieves in Game 3. The game seesawed around the whole game, but TSM came up on top with an Ace and a Baron buff.

Even Team Liquid wasn’t able to stop Cloud9’s rampage. Goldenglue and Svenskeren started for Cloud9 in this game, and Svenskeren’s Lee Sin was all over the map. Cloud9 added another win to their winning streak and placed themselves tied at third place.

FlyQuest defeated Counter Logic Gaming in the last game of the week. Counter Logic Gaming fell apart early in the game and wasn't able to come back up until their Nexus was destroyed.
