LGD, via official Weibo, announced the departure of S5 Worlds MVP toplaner Gyeonghwan "Marin" Jang. In 2015, Marin was considered by many as the best player in the world, winning both splits of LCK and the League of Legends World Championship with SK Telecom T1.
Apologizing for LGD's poor results last year, Marin thanked his Chinese fans and heavily implied he would be heading to another region. Most fans and journalists expect him to return to Korea.
