[BlizzCon 2017] Roguelike game mode? Single player adventure mode Dungeon Delver and 4 new cards revealed

On November 3rd, the new Hearthstone expansion, kobolds and Catacombs, along with a new type of single player mode was revealed at the BlizzCon 2017, at the Anaheim Convention Center.

4 new cards were introduced at the same time with the expansion introduction - Dragon Soul, one of 9 legendary weapons, Crushing Walls, an epic-level spell card for Hunter, Gather Your Party, a rare-level spell card for Warrior, and Marin the Fox, a legendary minion that will be given to all players at the end of BlizzCon 2017 for free.

Dungeon Delver is a newly introduced single player adventure mode in which players begin with a basic class deck and face bosses who become gradually more powerful. As players progress further, the composition of a deck changes with cards that are only retrievable from a boss and powerful treasures only available for use in the Dungeon Delver mode. A tremendous amount of cards has been added to the game just for this mode, and 48 special matches are prepared along with it.

In this expansion, players explore the Kobolds’ catacombs and face terrifying and mysterious enemies. A total of 135 new cards will be added to the game just like in the past expansions, and the new keyword Recruit, which allows a summon of random minions, will also be added.

Meanwhile, kobolds and Catacombs, which can be played starting December 2017, can be purchased with in-game gold or real money, and the pre-order of a bundle with 50 cards can be purchased with 50,000 Battle Coins once per account, from November 4th (Sat) until the official release of the expansion. More details about the expansion can be found on the official website.
