Demonic Armor, an upgraded craftable gear line based on Dragon Scale Mail, has made its debut. There are four types in total—Valakas's, Papurion's, Lindvior's, and Antharas's Demonic Armor—and all classes can equip them.
With a base AC of -11 and a safe enchant level up to +4, its performance alone places it at a very high tier for a single piece of armor. However, the required crafting materials are equally demanding, making it unlikely that players will see many others wearing it in-game.
Base AC -11, Up to -16 at +5 Enchant Up to +30 Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth Resistance Depending on Type
The biggest strength of Demonic Armor is undeniably its defense. It starts with a base AC of -11 and features a safe enchant limit of +4. Given the item's high value, using a Blessed Scroll of Enchant Armor to achieve +5 grants a substantial AC of -16.
Additionally, all variants inherently provide HP Recovery +2 and Damage Reduction +1. Another standout feature is that depending on which Demonic Armor you choose, you can gain up to +30 resistance to Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth elements.
Crafted by Ibelbin in Underground Castle Requires +7 Dragon Scale Mail, Plates, Hearts, Scales, and 5 Million Adena
Demonic Armor can be crafted by Blacksmith Ibelbin in the Underground Castle. It requires a +7 Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth Dragon Scale Mail as the base piece, along with 3 Black Mithril Plates, 5 Hearts, 30 Scales, and 5,000,000 Adena.
Black Mithril Obtained via Drops and Crafting Step-by-Step Crafting from Ore to Plate by Ibelbin
Black Mithril items can be obtained by defeating monsters and bosses on Floor 21 and above in the newly added Tower of Insolence. However, Black Mithril Ore is not dropped by bosses. Aside from drops, they can also be crafted sequentially—turning Black Mithril Ore into Black Mithril, and then Black Mithril into Black Mithril Plates. Like Demonic Armor, this crafting process is also handled by Blacksmith Ibelbin in the Underground Castle.
Hearts Also Obtained via Drops and Crafting Crafted by Ibelbin Using 4 Types of High-Grade Gems and 100 Gems
Hearts can be obtained by defeating specific monsters designated for each type, or crafted via Blacksmith Ibelbin in the Underground Castle. Crafting commonly requires 10 High-Grade Diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies, and Sapphires each along with 100,000 Adena, plus 100 regular Rubies, Emeralds, Sapphires, or Diamonds depending on the Heart type.
If you craft all 5 Hearts required for a single piece of Demonic Armor, you will need 50 of each of the 4 High-Grade Gem types, 500 corresponding regular gems of the specific type, and 500,000 Adena.
· 150 Black Mithril Ores, 90 Ashitagio's Ashes
· 140 High-Grade Diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies, and Sapphires each
· 30 Oriharukon Plates, 30 Mithril Plates
· 500 regular gems matching the Heart type
· Adena costs total 9.4 million (3.9 million for Plates, 500,000 for Hearts, and 5 million for Demonic Armor crafting fee)
· A +7 Dragon Scale Mail and 30 Dragon Scales are required separately.
· Because items like Hearts and Black Mithril gear can also drop directly, actual crafting costs may vary slightly in practice.
Equipment Reserved for a Select Few Even in Top-Tier Bloodpledges Stricter Hunting Zone Control Expected Given Material Values
The required crafting materials are as massive as its powerful stats. Since the key materials are concentrated on bosses and the highest floors of the Tower of Insolence, this equipment will likely be accessible only to a select few, even within the server's top-tier bloodpledges.
Given the high value of these materials, competition and zone control surrounding the relevant hunting grounds and boss spawns are expected to intensify significantly.
While it is a powerful piece of gear boasting -16 AC at +5 enchant, due to the material acquisition structure, it is highly likely to remain equipment for only a select few even within top-tier bloodpledges.
