T1 secured a comfortable victory against CBLOL's (Brazil) 1st seed LOS in their opening Swiss Stage match of the 2026 LoL World Championship. As the opponent was a CBLOL team, a T1 win was expected barring a major upset, and T1 delivered a smooth victory.
Early in the match, 'Doran' on Jayce built a significant CS lead over 'Zest''s K'Sante and secured first blood. While LOS put up a respectable laning phase against T1, T1 managed to pick off the enemy Rakan as well with help from 'Oner''s Lee Sin targeting the bottom lane.
Through good movement, T1 forced out the enemy champions' Flashes one by one before launching full-scale pressure. They focused heavily on the top lane, repeatedly killing K'Sante and taking down the tower to widen the gap. Continuing to expand their lead, T1 held an 11-1 kill score and a 6,000 gold lead by the 20-minute mark. Furthermore, with T1 quickly stacking three dragons, it was a highly frustrating match for LOS.
Maintaining a very calm and comfortable macro execution to lock down the game, T1 won consecutive one-sided teamfights, secured a swift Baron, and destroyed LOS's Nexus in just 24 minutes to take the win.
