On October 22, Gravity began the domestic closed beta test for its new multi-platform title, Ragnarok Online PLUS+.
Gravity arranged this test to closely examine core content ahead of the official launch and to ensure service stability across PC and mobile environments. Conducted for Korean users, this closed beta test will run for a total of eight days from October 22 to October 29. Players wishing to participate on PC can download the client from the official website, while mobile players can log in via Google Play download or Apple App Store's TestFlight.
This new title expands the world of the original Ragnarok Online to deliver a narrative never seen before. The lore centers on Sol and Mani, two worlds derived from fragments of Ymir's Heart. While preserving the original gameplay feel, the game introduces an auto-battle system that significantly improves player convenience. Furthermore, on PC, a dedicated widget function is supported during auto-battle, allowing players to immediately monitor real-time gameplay at the bottom of the screen even when the game window is minimized.
Ragnarok Online PLUS+ first made its public debut at G-STAR 2025 under the tentative title Ragnarok Online Project 1.5. At the time, it drew keen interest from industry attendees by teasing a parallel world setting with a dark and hostile atmosphere distinct from the original game.
Various promotions inside and outside the game will run throughout the test period. In-game attendance rewards are granted once daily upon login, and players who reach Day 8 attendance will receive a box item at official launch that lets them choose between the Angel Band and Devil Band, both highly popular in the original game. In addition, rewards based on cumulative play time and reaching specific levels are provided, alongside interactive content such as Treasure Hunt and Boss Summon events. On the official community platform, events including CBT screenshot verification, bug reporting, and strategy guide writing will be held, with diverse rewards distributed via raffle after the official launch.
