Linekong Korea announced that it is rolling out the 'North America, Land of Freedom and Opportunity' update to mark the 9th anniversary of the mobile sailing MMORPG Great Voyage. The update introduces the new 'North America' region and trade content, alongside events for returning players.
In the newly opened 'North America' region, players can visit the new port of Boston. The 'Boston Market' introduced here is a trade system where players compete to purchase cargo. A new navigator specialized in this trade system, Franklin, also joins the game.
Changes have also been made to navigator progression content. The navigator command center has been revamped, and a new navigator training system has been introduced.
The returning player event targets players of level 70 or higher who have no log-in records between September 28 and October 7. Players returning after October 22 will receive silver, ship materials, 'Heart of the Blue Whale', and other items. A top-tier rapid-growth buff supporting post-return progression will also be provided for 30 days.
On the official Naver Game Lounge, events are being held where players can leave 9th-anniversary congratulatory messages or share proof of playing new content. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win prizes such as a Galaxy Tab S11, Google gift codes, and in-game monthly subscription items.
