Colorful Technology Company Limited (hereinafter Colorful) has launched the AMD X870E-based motherboard iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14. It supports DDR5 memory configurations of up to 256GB and offers five M.2 slots.
The motherboard features four memory slots supporting speeds of up to 8400MHz. Among the five M.2 slots for storage, three support the PCIe 5.0 standard. The I/O panel includes a total of 11 USB ports, two of which are USB4 ports supporting 40Gbps speeds.
Network connectivity supports both wireless and wired options. The wireless standard is Wi-Fi 7, while wired connectivity is provided via a 5GbE port powered by the Realtek RTL8126-CG controller.
The power delivery section uses a 16+2+1 phase (80A) design. Colorful explained that it was engineered to stably deliver power to high-end processors, including the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Granular CPU overclocking is also possible using an integrated clock generator.
The self-developed X3D AI Turbo Mode automatically optimizes PBO, temperature, power, and voltage for AMD processors. According to Colorful, this minimizes frame drops and enhances multi-core performance. A debug display screen and LEDs are also included to monitor the status of the motherboard.
The exterior is based on the black design characteristic of the Ultra series. Large heatsinks feature graffiti-style typography inspired by hip-hop culture alongside dot-matrix artwork. Pixel-style ARGB lighting below the power delivery section creates a gradient effect that blends with the texture of the heatsink.
The iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 comes with a 3-year warranty.
