Netmarble Corp. announced on October 22 that it has added new fighters and launched seasonal events in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK. The main event, "Pumpkin Festival," runs through November 4.
During the "Pumpkin Festival," players can enjoy event dungeons such as "Pumpkin Tower" and "Spooky Parade". Playing through the dungeons yields rewards, including coins to summon "Iori (Spooky Night)" and "Mature (Spooky Night)". A new Legendary pet, "Pyris," is also added, alongside the return of the Legendary pet "Demonio".
The new fighter "Angel (Spooky Night)" arrives with a transformed look tailored for the "Pumpkin Festival" and possesses the "Solid" synergy. Along with Angel's recruitment event, rerun events for "Mature (Spooky Night)" and "Iori (Spooky Night)" will run through November 11. A new Keepsake for LE fighter Mature, "Fox Bead," has also been added.
"Heidern (KOF 2001)" has joined the Ranking Event Exchange Shop. As the commander-in-chief of the mercenary forces who executes cold-blooded assassination martial arts, this fighter possesses the "Special" synergy and can be obtained using "Proofs of Growth". From November 2 to November 6, the "Lucky LP" event will be held to introduce the new Legendary supporter "Jubei Yamada".
THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK is a character-collecting idle mobile RPG developed by Netmarble Neo Inc. based on SNK's fighting game IP.
