Linekong Korea announced on the 8th that it has opened pre-registration for the 9th anniversary update of its mobile sailing MMORPG, The Great Voyage. The update, titled "North America: Land of Freedom and Opportunity," will introduce a new region, story, navigators, and trade content.
Pre-registration is taking place on Naver Game Lounge, and any player interested in the game can participate. All participants will receive rewards including 'Heart of the Blue Whale', 'Proof of Insight', 'Leviathan's Oil', 'Forging Flame', 'Power of Wind' to assist in sailing, and a large amount of 'Silver'. Raffle prizes for pre-registrants include the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Google Gift Codes.
To enter "North America," which opens with the update, players must progress through the new story and obtain an entry permit. At the new port of "Boston," players can access the "Boston Market," a trade feature where they compete to purchase cargo.
Navigator-related changes are also planned. A new navigator specialized for the "Boston Market," "Franklin," will be added, and the "Navigator Command Chamber" will be revamped. A new "Navigator Training System" will also be introduced.
Released in October 2017, The Great Voyage is a mobile sailing MMORPG where players explore the world's oceans while enjoying trade and naval combat. Players can trade local specialties and luxury goods across various nations and cities, expand their influence alongside navigators, and engage in naval battles. Since its launch, the game has maintained active service while continually adding new seas and content through updates.
