NC's new shindenki magic RPG Astrae Oratio began its global closed beta test (CBT) on October 2. Aimed at global players, the test will run for five days until October 6 on mobile platforms.

Selected testers can experience story, combat, and character interaction content. Developed by Dynamis One, Astrae Oratio introduces its world building and characters through regional stories in this CBT, while also offering two preview-style mini-stories.
The three main scenarios revealed are 'Tokyo, Civil Servants, and Mages', 'Sparkling Days of the Minato Ward Mages', and 'Night of the Missing Mage and Ghost Story Hunters in Shinjuku Ward'.
Combat quests take place in Minato Ward and Shinjuku Ward across four difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Challenge. Players can also experience 'Score Trial,' where they face bosses under various conditions, and 'Simulation Room,' a dungeon for earning growth materials.
In the character interaction content 'Free Time,' players can observe characters' daily lives and increase their bond levels. 'Costumes' for changing character appearances and character voice lines are also provided. NC plans to evaluate overall game quality using play data and player feedback gathered during the CBT to refine future development and service preparations.
