LINE Games Corporation announced that it will officially add new character 'Kai' to its mobile SRPG The Genesis War: Mobile, developed by Meerkat Games and serviced by LINE Games, on October 6. Ahead of the update, a teaser trailer featuring the story of 'Cals Brandt' and 'Black Prince' was also released.
'Kai' is an alternate variant of Cals Brandt and one of the 'Number Siege' of the Ark. He is scheduled to be the first to appear among the 'Alternative' characters who have walked a fate different from the original game. The teaser trailer depicts Cals Brandt in a final showdown against 'Beradin' in another world, as well as the 'Black Prince' giving him his final order.
LINE Games also plans to host reward events alongside the October 6 update for new and returning players experiencing The Genesis War: Mobile for the first time.
Currently, the game is running the 'Chuseok Event Pass' and 'Point Collection Event 2' until maintenance on October 6. Through these two events, players can earn rewards such as 'Memory Shards', 'Rank-up Materials', 'Raznite', 'Cubes of Destiny', 'Memory Shard Boxes', and 'Armor Refinement Stone Selection Boxes'.
The Genesis War: Mobile is a title that encompasses the entire Genesis War series, and is currently developing its main story centered around the spin-off title, The Rhapsody of Zephyr.
