Press release provided by Wemade Play
Wemade Play announced that it completed the renewal audit for ISO 27001, an international information security standard certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), maintaining its certification for the seventh consecutive year since first acquiring it in 2020.

Wemade Play stated on October 2 that it secured this certification following surveillance and renewal audits after its initial certification. During the audit, external agencies verified the policies and systems established by the company to address domestic and international risk factors and security environments.
The company explained that starting late last year, it tailored a Zero Trust model to its internal environment and expanded its security policies and solutions. Through this audit, its policies, personal and shared devices, and solution operations were evaluated as meeting global standards.
This certification follows the ISMS (Information Security Management System), an officially recognized domestic certification completed in April. Wemade Play stated that it demonstrated a secure service environment for users through cross-audits and evaluations based on domestic and international standards.
Kim Sung-hoon, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Wemade Play, said, "This certification is the result of our team members applying new security policies to their daily work and corporate lives as a matter of routine. In line with our development and service direction aimed at expanding beyond the domestic market into global markets, we will continue to provide security services that meet global standards."
Having completed domestic and international accredited information security audits and certifications such as ISMS and ISO 27001, Wemade Play is preparing to expand service platform security policies in the second half of the year to strengthen personal data protection.
