On September 19, the Grand Finals of the Hyundai N x Racing Master Cup took place at Game Esports Seoul (GES), held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
The tournament, played on NetEase Games' Racing Master, featured eight players competing after advancing through qualifiers held across four Asian regions—South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan—over roughly two months. Representing South Korea were Woo-jin "Myeonap" Kim and Kyung-hoon "Ryosuke" Jeong. Developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Codemasters, Racing Master is a mobile racing game launched in March 2025 that features Hyundai Motor models such as the IONIQ 5 N, Veloster N, Avante N, and Tucson N Line.
In addition to the Racing Master Cup hosted at GES, various events are being held at the Racing Master and Hyundai N booths. Visitors at the Hyundai booth can experience the in-game Hyundai N vehicles firsthand through a lap time challenge using Hyundai N models, while also driving on virtual tracks based on downtown Seoul circuits and famous domestic tourist destinations.
Joonwoo Park, Vice President of N Brand Management at Hyundai Motor Company, said, "This collaboration is highly meaningful in that it expands sim racing activities—previously focused on console and PC—into the mobile realm," adding, "Hyundai N will continue to expand the foundation of domestic motorsport culture across diverse gaming platforms."
