This news was revealed when Rebel Wolves Narrative Director Jakub Szamalek shared the announcement on his LinkedIn page. Szamalek stated, "'The Blood of Dawnwalker' released to critical acclaim and sold over 1 million copies in its opening weekend alone," adding, "Me and the narrative team are looking for a Lead Writer to help craft the next chapter in the 'Dawnwalker' saga."
While specific details regarding sequel development were not explicitly discussed, recruiting a Lead Writer for the next chapter of the 'Dawnwalker' saga effectively signals hiring with a sequel in mind. However, since less than a week has passed since the original title was released, it is expected to take a considerable amount of time before players actually see the sequel. Meanwhile, 'The Blood of Dawnwalker,' which officially launched on September 3, recorded a peak concurrent player count of 78,188 on Steam and currently maintains a 'Very Positive' user rating.
