On September 4, in Round 2 of the Lower Bracket in the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Playoffs held at Chzzk LoL Park in Jonggak, kt Rolster got off to a strong start by taking Game 1 against Dplus KIA.

kt Rolster took the early lead in Game 1. 'Jiwoo' Jeong Ji-woo's Ezreal and 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho's Seraphine capitalized on hitting level 2 first to secure first blood. Although they gave up the first dragon, the ensuing teamfight was a 2-2 trade, and they safely secured all three Voidgrubs. In the following dragon contest, kt Rolster scored multiple kills behind the strong performance of 'PerfecT' Lee Seung-min's K'Sante.

Riding their momentum, kt Rolster made aggressive moves. They quickly tore down the top and mid outer turrets, picking off 'Siwoo' Jeon Si-woo's Jayce and 'ShowMaker' Heo Su's Aurora along the way. Utilizing 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan's Pantheon ultimate, they caught Jayce once more, handing him his third death. K'Sante even created a highlight by taking down an enemy in a 1v3 situation.

'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong's Ahri solo-killed Aurora in a side lane, while the main squad capitalized on every opponent mistake to turn them into kills. K'Sante broke through on his own to pick off 'Smash' Sin Geum-jae's Sivir. Armed with the Baron buff as their reward, kt Rolster charged into the enemy base and swept up kills in one-sided fashion to destroy the Nexus in Game 1.
