In the final match of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season held at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno on August 23, Nongshim RedForce defeated BNK FearX 2-1. With this victory, Nongshim RedForce secured 2nd place in the Rise Group, while the defeated BNK FearX finished the regular season in 3rd place.
BNK FearX took Game 1. Amid a tightly contested match with continuous kill trades, Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon's Caitlyn, who had already gained an edge during the laning phase, accelerated his growth by picking up kills in every teamfight. Powered by the deathless performance of the well-fed Caitlyn, BNK FearX won consecutive late-game teamfights and closed out the game at the 28-minute mark with an Ace.
In Game 2, Nongshim RedForce surged ahead. Nam "Diable" Dae-geun's Lucian shattered the balance in the bottom lane early by recording a 3/0/1 score line in just five minutes, while consecutive solo kills were produced in top and mid. With his scaling accelerated, Lucian also picked up a solo kill on the opposing ADC. Nongshim RedForce added three more kills through a bottom lane dive, and Lucian became a dominant force on the battlefield in just 10 minutes.
Trailing by over 7,000 gold, BNK FearX narrowed the gap by winning a teamfight in the mid lane. Subsequently, "Clear"'s Vayne scaled up by collecting kills and CS in the side lanes, even shutting down the troublesome Lucian. However, Nongshim RedForce successfully rushed the fresh Baron, scored an Ace in the ensuing fight to reclaim momentum, and closed out Game 2 as expected.
Early in Game 3, as Nongshim RedForce struck first in both mid and bottom, "Raptor"'s Kha'Zix responded by scoring points through a top gank followed by a Scuttle Crab fight. However, Nongshim RedForce still maintained laning priority, using it to secure all Dragons and Voidgrubs to keep up a strong momentum. "Diable"'s Jhin ultimate also handed back-to-back deaths to "VicLa"'s Akali.
BNK FearX bought some breathing room by catching Jhin and Bae "Sponge" Yeong-jun's Nocturne with a surprise engage. They then scored another kill in the side lane, tying up the kill score. However, around the 23-minute mark, Nocturne was caught out once more but managed to survive until the end while drawing in the entire enemy team, allowing Nongshim RedForce to sweep four kills and claim Baron.
The gold lead now exceeded 5,000. Song "Clear" Hyeon-min's Renekton attempted a flank behind Nongshim RedForce, but was caught before his team could arrive. After also picking off BNK FearX's retreating bottom duo, Nongshim RedForce marched straight into the enemy base to put an end to the lengthy series.
