Korean Overwatch fans gathered in Busan for 'Overwatch Day,' held over two days on the 22nd and 23rd at BEXCO. Overwatch Day is a large-scale event hosted by Nexon to celebrate taking over domestic service for Overwatch. Nexon designed Hall 1 of BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 taking inspiration from the in-game Busan map.

One attendee on site shared, "I'm having so much fun seeing my favorite creators and receiving gifts. It's great to have such a massive gaming event held in Busan." Another visitor said, "It was fun listening to various stories during the developer talk session."

Interactive programs and stamp tours are essential staples of offline events. Visitors can step into the shoes of MEKA squad heroes, completing missions across different areas to collect stamps.

Seven on-site interactive programs were prepared. Attendees could enjoy a variety of activities, including Fusion Cannon Target Practice (firing three shots at targets), MEKA Resupply Training (transporting a resupply cart), 'Find D.Mon,' and Drums of Victory (tapping LED drums). In addition, a 60-player Overwatch PC Cafe zone and a merchandise area were set up.

At the massive main stage located deep inside the venue, a full line-up of programs ran throughout the day. Blizzard developers took the stage to share behind-the-scenes development stories of Overwatch, and a creator match featuring prominent creators including Runner and ryujehong was held. During the creator match in particular, virtually all attendees in the venue were fully immersed and cheering.

Cosplayers dressed as Overwatch heroes also graced the venue. Selected through prior applications, the cosplayers greeted visitors in stunning looks as doors opened, later taking the stage to show off their performances.
