A new gameplay video has been revealed for Game Science's upcoming title, Black Myth: Zhong Kui.
On August 20, Game Science released an approximately 15-minute gameplay video for Black Myth: Zhong Kui on its official YouTube channel. The footage showcases the new protagonist's appearance, field exploration, various characters, and combat against enemies. Notably, unlike its predecessor Black Myth: Wukong, the game features a humanoid protagonist, drawing attention for its distinct combat style.
Black Myth: Zhong Kui is a third-person ARPG following Black Myth: Wukong. First announced during Gamescom 2025, the game centers on Zhong Kui, the demon-slaying deity from Eastern mythology, raising high expectations.
Despite being the developer's first AAA title, predecessor Black Myth: Wukong achieved global success, winning at the 2024 Golden Joystick Awards and receiving an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam. Consequently, the sequel, Black Myth: Zhong Kui, is garnering strong interest from global gamers with the release of the new video.
