Shadow Corporation is a leading South Korean esports agency representing a large number of players and coaches active overseas, particularly in China's LPL. The agency has a strong presence in the LPL, with a roster that includes players like 'Viper' Park Do-hyeon, 'Kael' Kim Jin-hong, 'Bulldog' Lee Tae-young, and 'Burdol' No Tae-yoon, as well as prominent coaching staff such as head coach Son Dae-young and coach 'Helper' Kwon Young-jae.
The core strength that helps these individuals adapt to the international stage is Shadow Corporation's 'experience.' The agency is staffed by professionals who have worked as head coaches and coaches in the LPL, giving them a deep understanding of the players' needs. Beyond just assisting with contracts during the STOVE league, they visit China more than 10 times a year to provide player care and support fan events, ensuring players can focus entirely on their matches during the season.
The recent visit to Suzhou is part of this ongoing commitment. At the venue for the 2026 LPL Split 3 regular season matches, Shadow Corporation organized a 6th-anniversary celebration for their client, AL's 'Kael' Kim Jin-hong. They prepared and distributed merchandise planned and produced in Korea to local fans, creating a meaningful occasion. Since transferring to AL after stints with Gen.G and BNK FEARX, Kim has seen his potential skyrocket, and his local popularity has grown just as rapidly as his skills; he now has 600k followers on Weibo, China's largest social media platform.
Meanwhile, this year's LPL has introduced a 'Rolling Roadshow' format, touring the home arenas of various teams for the first time in league history, which has been met with an enthusiastic response. From August 12 to 16, all LPL matches are being held at the Suzhou Yangcheng International Esports Center, the home stadium of LNG Esports. Despite these being regular-season matches, the atmosphere was electric as all LPL teams and their fans converged on Suzhou. The scale of the venue dwarfs the LCK's LoL PARK. According to local officials, this LNG home stadium is considered only 'mid-to-upper tier' by Chinese standards, which highlights the sheer scale of the LPL's infrastructure.
We captured the process of Shadow Corporation’s on-site care as they meticulously prepared a special event for their player, as well as the true scale and vibrant energy of the LPL that we witnessed firsthand in Suzhou.
