Sol: Enchantment (hereinafter Sol) released an update on Wednesday, August 12, featuring a new dungeon and balance adjustments for high-level hunting grounds. Additionally, the update introduces new field bosses, a 'Feud Player' system to prevent PK, and various quality-of-life improvements, including map and potion HUD updates. Let’s take a look at the changes and new events from this patch.
New Special Dungeon: 'Hellfire Temple' Added
The newly released Hellfire Temple is a special dungeon accessible from level 53, similar in structure to the 'Sanctuary of the Heavens' added in the previous update. It can be played for 2 hours daily, and access time can be extended using recharge stones dropped within the dungeon. Like the Sanctuary of the Heavens, which dropped Unique weapon and armor selection chests, this dungeon offers Unique Accessory selection chests.
On average, players can earn 160–180 Nine and 30k–32k EXP per kill. As it provides slightly more EXP than the Sanctuary of the Heavens, the difficulty is also slightly higher. We recommend playing your two hours here every day.

High-Level Hunting Grounds Balance Adjustments
This patch adjusts the difficulty of high-level hunting grounds and adds new item drops. First, the duration of poison debuffs in the Hyde Swamp and Thorny Hideout has been reduced. These areas previously felt disproportionately difficult due to the poison debuff; this adjustment is intended to position them as a bridge for players moving from mid-level areas like the Mountains or Temples to high-level hunting grounds.
Monster damage in the Orc Fortress and Orc Base has also been lowered, and they now drop Nine chunks. These areas were previously less popular than Hyde Swamp, Beast Pass, or the Nine Mine. By adjusting the difficulty and adding rewards, the developers appear to be preventing overcrowding in Beast Pass as the average player's stats increase.
Finally, Legend and Epic item drops have been added to the Altar of Shadows, Beast Pass, Dragon's Valley, and Dragon's Canyon. This marks the first instance of regular monsters dropping Legend equipment. It remains to be seen what the drop rates will be and how this will affect the item economy. Beast Pass, in particular, was already popular for its high EXP, and this addition to the drop table is expected to draw even more attention.

New Field Bosses and Collection Items
New field bosses, 'Silas' and 'Astaroth,' have been added to the Undead Forest and the 3rd floor of the Artaron Temple, respectively. Each boss appears at midnight with a 100% spawn rate and drops Epic grade items: 'Silas' Gloves' and 'Astaroth's Ring.' Players can also obtain a new collection item, the 'Seal of Sealing.'

Event Dungeon 'Midsummer Forest' Launch
The new event dungeon, Midsummer Forest, runs from August 12 (Wed) to August 26 (Wed). Players can enter for 5 minutes daily to obtain various consumables. In addition to existing items like EXP pouches and Equipment Enchant Scrolls, new event-exclusive items such as 'Watermelon Punch' and 'Watermelon Barrel Spirit Card Fragments' are available.
Watermelon Barrel and Golden Watermelon Barrel Spirit Card Fragments are new crafting materials used to create the new 'Watermelon Barrel' and 'Golden Watermelon Barrel' spirits. The Unique-grade Golden Watermelon Barrel has a somewhat lackluster HP option, but its EXP gain increase is 15%, matching that of Epic spirits—a very high value for its grade. It also provides decent collection bonuses, so be sure to participate daily to try and obtain these spirits.

Other Quality-of-Life Improvements
First, a 'Feud Player' system has been added. This community feature allows you to register and manage specific targets. When selecting a target, a 'Register Feud' icon appears in the shortcut UI. When a registered player logs in, a notification appears in the chat tab, and an icon is displayed on the mini-map if they are nearby. Additionally, a sound alert plays when a Feud Player enters the mini-map range.
Mini-map and world map displays have also been improved. You can now zoom the mini-map in and out in three stages using the magnifying glass button in the top right. Furthermore, the Nine acquisition information shown when selecting region details on the world map has been changed to display only the Nine obtainable from regular monsters in that area. This resolves the issue where the Nine acquisition rate in fields with boss monsters appeared misleadingly high.
An automatic potion UI has also been introduced, allowing players to change potion settings directly from the main screen. This is expected to improve ease of control when HP drops rapidly in high-level hunting grounds. Finally, items that can be registered in the collection will no longer trigger a red dot notification if they are currency.
