In the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 3 Legend Group match held at LoL PARK in Jongno, Seoul, on the 9th, Dplus KIA secured a reverse sweep, winning 2-1 after dropping the first game. In the second set, the playmaking of 'Kellin' Oh Hyun-seok and the carry potential of 'ShowMaker' Heo Su shone through, while in the third set, they dominated from the laning phase, with a clear 'bot lane gap' leading them to victory.
In Game 1, kt Rolster started strong by picking off 'Kellin' Oh Hyun-seok's Milio during a mid-lane skirmish. Although Dplus KIA scored in the bot lane, 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min's Olaf dampened their momentum with a solo kill. kt Rolster continued to build their lead using the global ultimate skills of 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan's Pantheon and 'Bdd' Kwak Bo-seong's Ryze.
Around the 23-minute mark, kt Rolster caught out 'Lucid' Choi Yong-hyuk's Vi and secured Baron as a reward. Dplus KIA attempted to initiate a teamfight by collapsing on the Ryze pressuring the mid lane, but Ryze survived, and a rampaging Olaf led kt Rolster to a decisive victory. After pushing down the mid inhibitor, kt Rolster dove deep to secure an ace and take Game 1.
Dplus KIA struck back in Game 2. kt Rolster held a slight edge early on, with 'Cuzz's Naafiri securing a kill on the opposing ADC in the bot lane, followed by a combo play between 'Perfect's Yorick and 'Bdd's Annie. The teams traded kills 3-2 in the first 5v5 teamfight.
However, Dplus KIA accelerated their pursuit, creating a series of highlight plays thanks to 'Kellin's lightning-fast Shen taunt initiations. During this process, 'ShowMaker' Heo Su's Viktor grew rapidly, dealing devastating damage in every subsequent teamfight. After securing two Barons and the Infernal Soul, Dplus KIA widened the gold gap to over 10k and clinched Game 2.
In the decisive Game 3, Dplus KIA's bot lane duo of Kalista and Renata Glasc seized lane priority from the start, beginning with a duo kill that created a massive growth gap between the ADCs. In the first teamfight at the Rift Herald, Dplus KIA emerged with two kills after a fierce exchange, and 'Smash's Kalista picked up a double kill during the third Dragon fight.
The global gold lead soon exceeded 5,000, with the gap between the ADCs nearing 3k. Although kt Rolster managed to steal the Soul Dragon, they suffered even greater losses after being wiped out in the ensuing teamfight. Empowered by the Baron Buff, Dplus KIA completely demolished the enemy base to put an end to the series.
