Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 24th that it has collaborated with Samsung Electronics to introduce special themes for its two games, 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' and 'Mongil: STAR DIVE.'
This collaboration commemorates the launch of Samsung Electronics' next-generation flagship foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features an even larger screen and an optimized display ratio, allowing for more vivid and crisp rendering of high-end graphics.
The two special themes from Netmarble are designed to maximize the unique visual appeal of each game. The 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' theme, based on the 'Lu Bu' costume, captures dynamic energy on the lock screen and icons, evoking the sensation of racing forward accompanied by the roar of an engine.
The 'Mongil: STAR DIVE' theme features the game's core characters, 'Mina' and 'Narae,' capturing a warm moment between the two sisters in a garden filled with falling petals. It incorporates the game's signature everyday atmosphere through pastel tones and stylish art.
These two special themes are offered as an exclusive benefit for customers who purchase the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, or Flip8. Customers in Korea who purchase and activate these devices can download the themes by visiting the special theme event page in the Galaxy Store by October 31.
To celebrate the collaboration, offline events will be held at five Samsung Store locations: Hongdae, Daejeon, Sangmu, Shinsegae Daegu, and Shinsegae Centum City. Visitors can download the special themes for free by tagging their Galaxy smartphones to NFC terminals located at these stores until August 3.
Meanwhile, 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH,' which officially launched in Korea on May 15, is a remake project of the original 'Seven Knights.' It inherits key elements such as the story and combat system while incorporating modern trends to deliver an enhanced gaming experience.
'Mongil: STAR DIVE' is the successor to 'Monster Taming,' which gained immense popularity after its 2013 release and led the mainstream adoption of the mobile collectible RPG genre. It features: #1 High-quality character and story presentation based on Unreal Engine 5; #2 A 'Monster Collecting' system for capturing, collecting, and fusing monsters; and #3 Real-time tag play based on a 3-person party with thrilling combat action.
