Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (hereinafter KONAMI) announced on the 16th that it has released the baseball game 'Professional Baseball Spirits 2026' for PlayStation®5 and Steam® platforms.

'Professional Baseball Spirits 2026' is the latest installment in KONAMI's long-running 'Professional Baseball Spirits' series, featuring updated 2026 professional baseball player data, including new draft picks, international signings, and returning players.

Powered by Unreal® Engine and the eBaseball™ Engine, this title delivers a realistic baseball experience by accurately recreating ball trajectories, player movements, and stadium atmosphere. Notably, it is the first in the series to support Korean, with localized UI and in-game text to ensure a more intuitive experience for domestic users.

Additionally, the '2026 World Baseball Classic™' mode returns after 17 years, allowing players to compete with national teams and top-tier athletes from around the world, including South Korean representatives. The mode features world-class stars familiar to Korean baseball fans, such as Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Ronald Acuña Jr., Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Lee Jung-hoo.

The game also features a digital recreation of the actual final venue, 'LoanDepot park™,' and a scenario mode that mirrors the flow of all 47 games leading up to the final, heightening the tension and immersion of the tournament. The Japanese national team, a past 'World Baseball Classic™' champion, is included as special content, allowing players to relive historic moments and legendary games. A tournament mode is also available, enabling players to build custom teams using original players and those from the 12 professional clubs.

In the popular 'Star Player' career mode, players can guide a single professional baseball player from a promising prospect to stardom. The high school baseball-themed 'Miracle of the White Ball' mode now includes the Designated Hitter (DH) system and rules for two-way players (starting pitcher and DH), offering various ways to enjoy the game through direct control, tactical management, or single-player focus.

Other diverse game modes include Versus, Pennant Race, Spirits, Championship, Professional Baseball News, Grand Prix, Home Run Derby, and Team Edit.
