Playwith Korea (CEO Kim Hak-jun) has officially unveiled three new concept art pieces for its highly anticipated second-half title, 'Seal M2' (tentative title), marking the start of its promotional campaign.
The newly released concept art captures the unique atmosphere of 'Seal M2,' which inherits the legacy of 'Seal Online' while evolving it further. The three pieces feature a modern reinterpretation of the 'Seal' series' signature character designs. One depicts the warm and vibrant landscape of the Shiltz village, the starting point of the adventure and a hub for player interaction. Another visualizes the interior of an unknown dungeon, emphasizing the thrill of combat and exploration.
Starting with this reveal, Playwith Korea plans to sequentially introduce detailed game content leading up to the official launch in the second half of the year to build anticipation among players.
Playwith Korea is currently working with Playwith Games to solidify a global licensing and collaboration framework to maximize the value of the 'Seal' IP. Recently, 'Seal M on Cloth' demonstrated the strength of the IP by gaining significant popularity in the Southeast Asian market through global publishing in partnership with Nexth.
Building on this success, the company signed an IP agreement with Thailand's Maxion Games in March and is accelerating development for a localized game launch.
A representative from Playwith Korea emphasized, "The concept art released today signals a new beginning for the 'Seal' series through 'Seal M2.' We are committed to delivering a high-quality game through close collaboration with our domestic and international partners, and we aim to elevate the status of the 'Seal' IP in the global market to the next level."
'Seal M2' is currently undergoing optimization and content refinement, with a target release date in the second half of 2026.
