This album captures the vitality of the continent of Pywel, reflecting the musical vision of the Crimson Desert development team. The soundtrack was designed to densely convey the atmosphere of the vast open-world continent of Pywel, enhancing gameplay immersion while harmonizing with the game's world-building.
The album consists of 75 tracks organized into four themes: #1 'Themes,' featuring the grand prologue of an epic saga; #2 'Battles,' capturing the intensity of desperate combat; #3 'Exploration,' allowing listeners to feel the breath of the open world; and #4 'Bosses,' delivering the tenacity and awe of the path to victory. These tracks encapsulate the game's key moments and emotions.
Ryu Hwi-man, Pearl Abyss' Audio Director, stated, "We decided to provide these high-quality tracks for free in response to requests from players around the world who wanted to own the OST since the announcement of Crimson Desert." He added, "We hope players can once again experience the thrill of Pywel through the music that our development team and all the composers have meticulously prepared."
