Riot Games has unveiled new details for Champions Paris 2025, the concluding event of the VALORANT esports season. The international tournament will feature 16 teams from across four regions, with matches running Sept. 12 to Oct. 5 at Grand Paris Sud Arena in Évry-Courcouronnes and Accor Arena in Paris, France.
The field includes eight teams that placed first and second in Stage 2 of their respective international leagues—Pacific, Americas, EMEA, and China—alongside two additional teams from each region based on championship points.
Defending world champions Edward Gaming (EDG) of China return after winning Champions Seoul 2024 but enter Paris as the region’s third seed. China’s first and second seeds are Bilibili Gaming and Dragon Ranger Gaming, who rose in form during the 2025 season.

From the Americas, G2 Esports qualified as top seed following dominant wins in both stages, while NRG secured the second slot. The EMEA region sends four teams: Team Liquid, GIANTX, Fnatic, and Team Heretics.
Pacific Representatives PRX-RRQ-T1-DRX to Compete
The Pacific league sends a strong lineup. Paper Rex (PRX), winners of Masters Toronto and Pacific Stage 2, lead the charge. They are joined by Stage 2 runner-up Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), Masters Bangkok champions T1, and DRX, winners of the Pacific Kickoff.
Group assignments, revealed this week, place PRX in Group A alongside China’s XLG. RRQ faces Fnatic in Group B, while T1 opens against Dragon Ranger Gaming. DRX landed in Group C, labeled the “Group of Death,” with Team Liquid, NRG, and EDG. All group and playoff matches will follow a double-elimination format. The lower bracket final and grand final will be best-of-five, while earlier rounds are best-of-three.

Riot also confirmed community engagement events. A revamped Pick’Em challenge will let fans align with co-streaming partners, with prediction accuracy unlocking rewards such as gun buddies, sprays, and titles. Viewing rewards, including limited in-game cosmetics, will be distributed during live broadcasts on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
In addition, limited-edition merchandise for Champions Paris will be available starting Sept. 9 through Riot’s online shop. Champions Paris 2025 marks the final international stop before the next VALORANT Champions Tour season begins.
