[LCK Media Day] GEN Chovy: "I hope [Bdd] goes easy on me." vs. KT Bdd: "He's the one who needs to go easy."

On the media day for the 2023 LCK Spring Split finals, Gen.G and KT Rolster coaches and players joined the media to talk about the first match. Gen.G head coach Go “Score” Dong-bin and KT head coach Kang “Hirai” Dong-hoon pointed out that the mid-jungle will be the key to winning. They explained that since Chovy-Peanut and Bdd-Cuzz are all great players, the game would be easier to play if they could get ahead in the mid-jungle fights.

About this, Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon said, “The team that has the initiative in the mid-jungle has an advantage in macro, so I think it’s the most important,” and added, “Since Bdd has been doing so well recently, I hope he goes easy on me.”

Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong responded to Chovy with a similar answer. “When Gen.G’s mid-jungle duo gets to roam freely, their game gets easier. Since Chovy is always good, he should be the one who needs to go easy.”

In a recent interview, Bdd praised Chovy’s laning ability and mentioned that he always watches the replays. When asked about Bdd’s strengths, Chovy said, “Bdd has strong laning, and his ability to make variables with his teammates is better than other players.”

Both players evaluated Taliyah as a good champion despite Taliyah didn’t have any wins in the playoffs. They said that Taliyah wasn’t the reason for the losses. Bdd said, “I didn’t feel that we lost because of Taliyah, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable playing her,” and Chovy said, “Bdd plays Taliyah very well, so we need to be aware of it.”
