WE Mystic wanted the fans to know that Team WE is among the best in LPL.

On May 11th (PDT) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Team WE picked up a win against G2 Esports in the third match of Day 2 in the Group Stage of Mid-Season Invitational 2017. After the game, Sungjun "Mystic" Jin was interviewed on stage for his thoughts after the match.

WE was aware that G2's Kog'Maw will be a threat in late game, so they nipped him from the bud: "G2's Kog'Maw would have been very strong late game in teamfights. So, we tried to harass Kog'Maw in early game as much as possible. That's why we were able to win."

As for his team, Mystic proudly stated that WE is among the best in LPL: "It's been a while since we've been on an international stage, but WE always did great in LPL. I'd like to say that we are just as strong as RNG and EDG."
