Mid laner Kim "Gori" Tae-woo has joined PSG Talon ahead of the 2022 PCS Summer Split. Gori was the third member to part ways with LPL team FunPlus Phoenix following the conclusion of the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs after Yang "Beichuan" Ling and Luo "jiang" Bai-Jiang — the jungler and AD carry for FunPlus Phoenix Blaze, respectively — parted ways with the organization.

In his first split as a starting mid laner, Gori was named the MVP of the 2021 LCK Summer Split for his standout performance on Nongshim RedForce, but failed to come close to the same level of play on FunPlus Phoenix in the 2022 LPL Spring Split and found himself benched midway through spring in favor of Yang "Care" Jie.

After representing the PCS as its champion at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, PSG Talon parted ways with their South Korean duo of mid laner Park "Bay" Jun-byeong and jungler Lee "Juhan" Ju-han. Whether a South Korean jungler will also be signed alongside Gori to replace Juhan is unclear.

For the first few months of the 2022 season, both jiang and Beichuan, who was stylizing his name as Beichuan at the time, were substitutes on the FunPlus Phoenix LPL roster. However, they were moved to the organization's academy team, FunPlus Phoenix Blaze, in March — jiang on the 2nd, and Beichuan on the 21st.

While jiang is currently a free agent, Beichuan has found a new home on ThunderTalk Gaming, who have had a busy mid-season break after a last place finish in the 2022 LPL Spring Split. Before Beichuan joined TT, the organization parted ways with jungler Lee "Chieftain" Jae-yub, top lane substitute Xia "Chelizi" Han-Xi, and starting top laner Tian "New" Zhi-Peng.

Since Beichuan's signing, ThunderTalk Gaming have signed four players to their LPL roster: AD carry Zou "Kepler" Jia-Le, top laner Yoon "Hoya" Yong-ho, top laner Huang "Xiaoxiang" Xiang, and jungler Dai "Xiao17" Ying-Jie while parting ways with jungle substitute Wang "frigid" Xin and support Han "Patch" Seung-min among a multitude of changes to the team's support staff.
