SuperMassive eSports takes first place in the 2017 MSI Play-In Stage, Round 1

On April 28th (BRT), SuperMassive eSports (Turkey) took first place in the 2017 MSI Play-In Stage, Round 1. RED Canids (Brazil) took second place with 2 wins and 1 losses, and LG Dire Wolves (Oceania) and Rampage (Japan) took third and last place, respectively.

Hugo “Dioud” Padioleau, the Support for RED Canids, has showed amazing gameplay with Thresh during the opening match. With the perfect use of Death Sentence and Dark Passage, Dioud led his team to victory. The second matchup saw SuperMassive’s clean sweep with Galio, Ivern, and Lulu.

Carlos “Nappon” Henrique, the Jungler for RED Canids, also has led the team to victory in their match against Rampage. Nappon quickly gathered enough gold for the team, allowing his teammates to buy stats and items before the enemy team did. Even though tockers’s Ahri was cut off a few times, RED Canids did not hesitate to push towards the enemy Nexus.

SuperMassive and RED Canids were both in first place after the 4th matchup of the day. Dire Wolves won against Rampage in the 5th matchup, marking their first victory in the MSI. Rampage had to end the day with no wins.

In the 6th and last matchup of the day, SuperMassive won against RED Canids. Not only they won every lane, but they also took the Baron buff. With a gold difference of more than 10,000 golds, SupperMassive took first place in the 2017 MSI Play-In Stage, Round 1.
